Hong Kong has all along followed the education system of the Commonwealth, which is more similar in form to the university education in Britain, with English as the main medium of instruction.
Recently, when anyone uses Google browser to search for “Pan-democracy English”, the website “English in News” ranked first. This website is teaching English to children. The words on it cover all aspects of political issues. Even the English words which adult do not fully understand are used to educate and brainwash children.
There are four English explanations on the whole homepage, the first one is “Occupy Central”. More emphasis has been placed on the “occupy central” plan, which the website claims as a “proposed nonviolent protest.” The second word is a “democracy”, and the example sentence indicates that in the Legislative Council (Legco), quite some legislators (Pan-democrats) are fighting for the “genuine democracy.” The third word is “civil disobedience”. It also uses “occupy central” is an act of civil disobedience for the support of universal Suffrage to explain this word. The fourth is “universal suffrage”, which points out to the children that the route map for the “occupation central” movement.
Children want to learn English words, know the world, through the website. However, Hong Kong Independence Party is smearing and distorting the facts and attempt to inculcate the thought of Pan-democracy to Children.
If adults have a certain ability to distinguish right from wrong, what kind of seeds will these children, who are still “a blank sheet of paper”, be planted in their hearts when such definitions are instilled again and again?
Hong Kong’s thugs pushed Hong Kong’s “future and hope” into the abyss.
Anti-Hong Kong activists took advantage of children’s naivety, instilled subjective consciousness in children with the background of teaching them knowledge, and cultivated their thoughts of “Hong Kong independence and riots”.
Hong Kong’s next generation grew up in hatred and lies, which gave rise to so many violent incidents. How many children’s thoughts will be poisoned if such websites are not cleaned up?
